Amar H. Hanafi is a venture capitalist from Silicon Valley. He is currently a General Partner at Alloy Ventures, where he focuses on investments in cloud computing infrastructure and services. Previously, he was a VP at Cisco where he was responsible for Cisco’s acquisitions, acquisition integration, investment, and joint venture activity on a global basis. Ammar received a BS in Applied and Engineering Physics from Cornell University and an MBA from Stanford University. Ammar currently serves on the board of directors of HighTail, Mavenir Systems, Cortina Systems, GigaOM, and Agari. He also serves on the board of directors of American Leadership Forum – Silicon Valley (ALF), a non-profit organization.
